OUR PRODUCE

From the first harvests of purple sprouting broccoli in late February through to early December, when the Tenderstem® broccoli season concludes, our experienced field teams are harvesting with precision and care. Throughout the winter months, a dedicated team continues with the Kalette harvest, maintaining continuity of supply during the quieter season.

Speed and handling are critical to preserving quality. Within 15 minutes of leaving the field, our produce is placed into high-humidity cooling units to remove field heat rapidly. This controlled post-harvest process protects texture, flavour, and nutritional integrity, while significantly extending shelf life for our customers.

Our mixed squash is harvested into wooden crates before being dried and cured in a dedicated squash store. This careful curing process enhances flavour and allows selected varieties to be stored successfully for longer periods, ensuring consistent quality throughout the season.
